Dark shadows or watermarks under PE electronic protective film are caused by refractive index mismatch between the adhesive and the display surface. When light passes through film and adhesive layers with different refractive indices, interference patterns create visible shadows. Guangdayuan solves this with index-matched adhesive technology. Developed through our partnership with Harbin Institute of Technology, our adhesive refractive index precisely matches glass (n=1.51), eliminating optical interference.

Performance Features

Unlike ordinary films that create uneven wet-looking patches, Guangdayuan‘s index-matched film appears invisible on screen. No optical defects, no quality inspection failures, no customer returns. The film also offers ultra-low adhesion (1-5g/in) for easy removal without display stress.

Product Introduction

Guangdayuan’s optical-grade PE electronic protective film features index-matched adhesive and ultra-flat coating. With over 20 years of expertise and premium raw materials from Toray and Toyobo, our film delivers completely uniform optical appearance — no shadows, no watermarks, no display distortion.

Product Parameters

Thickness range: 30μm to 80μm. Width: up to 1600mm. Adhesive refractive index: 1.51 ±0.01 (matched to glass). Coating thickness tolerance: ±1μm. Light transmittance: >92%. Haze: <1.5%. Shadow/watermark: zero visible under 1000 lux. The film passes ISO9001 certification.
